Presenting Research on Kalanchoe and Light Levels

I presented my research on water capacity in succulent plants under different light conditions at the Festival of Excellence at Southern Utah University on April 3, 2018. I did this in order to learn how to present my research in a professional setting. This experience helped me to decide if I wanted to pursue a career as a botanical researcher in the future. I learned about the intricacies of professional scientific presentations and I learned how to simplify complex research findings such that they can be understood by someone unfamiliar with the field of study. This project requires a continuation if it were to be published as certain variables were not properly controlled or accounted for during the experiment.
